           Our Pastor, Jerome Clark, is the eldest of eight siblings, born to the late Adam Clark and Emmie Clark. He was raised in Holly Hill, SC the biggest little town in South Carolina.  Pastor Clark was educated at Robert’s and Vance Elementary and graduated from Robert’s High School, in the Orangeburg County School District.

           In 1980 he enrolled into Jarvis Christian College, Hawkins, Texas. In 1985 He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion and minor in Sociology. Pastor Clark enrolled into graduated school at Lexington Theology Seminary in Lexington, Kentucky in 1984. While attending Lexington Theological Seminary he became the Senior Pastor of May’s lick Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in May’s Lick, Kentucky.

         In 1988, Pastor Clark was ordained at New Galilee Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and of those same years he was called to be the Pastor of Campbell Street Christian Church (Disciple of Christian) in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. He served the Church for six years until moving back to Holly Hill, South Carolina in 1995.

          Pastor Clark, in 1996 was called to be the Pastor of Faithful and Magdalene Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Presently, he is the Pastor of Cypress Creek Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), in Walterboro, SC. On October 5, 2020, after 24 years with the Department of Social Services in Berkeley County he had the courage to retired, however, he is a part-time worker with Hampton Inn and Suite.

Pastor is married to the former Bridgett R. Hall of Beaufort, South Carolina. She is the daughter of the late Raiford and Earline Hall. Pastor Jerome and Bridgett have three sons, J’Quan, Calvin, and Jabin.
